Fossil free within one generation

Description:

We power climate smarter living

Vattenfall has been electrifying industries, powering homes and transforming life through innovation and collaboration for over a hundred years. This will continue and we are currently focused on the challenge of transitioning to a fully sustainable energy supply. For Vattenfall, this means we enable fossil-free living within one generation and aim to power climate smarter living for all our customers.

Vattenfall is one of Europe’s largest producers of electricity and heat. Our main products are electricity, heat, gas and energy services. We employ 20,000 people and have operations mainly in Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark and the UK.
Vattenfall’s heat business comprises Vattenfall’s heat operations – i.e. gas, coal or biomass fired CHP and condensing assets, sector-coupling and grid operations – including sales and decentralised solutions. In cooperation with cities, regions, customers and end consumers Business Area Heat is driving the transition towards a fossil free and resource efficient energy future.
