Travel Information

How to get from the Airport to the city centre:

  • Public Transport:The Nantes Shuttle is the official Nantes Airport to Nantes city centre service and is the best way to travel to the city centre by bus. The shuttle departure is in front of Hall 2 and are frequent (every 20 minutes approximately – 30 minutes on Sundays and bank holidays). The bus will take you directly to the city centre in 20 minutes. A single journey will cost you €9: https://www.tan.fr/fr/menu/se-deplacer/tan/navette-aeroport/
  • Taxi:
    Official Nantes Airport Taxis are located directly in front of Hall 1 and operate 24 hours a day. It will cost you approximative €30-35 to go to the city center.

Passport and visa

An identity card is sufficient for EU/EEA citizens. All other participants need a valid passport to enter the European Union.

Visas may be required for participants from some countries. For specific information, please contact the nearest French embassy at least six weeks prior to your departure.

Language

The country’s official language is French, however if you cannot speak French you should be able to use your English in some places.
