Currently he is in charge of the Agency’s export-oriented programs on district energy as well as country manager for the Indonesia-program.
Paul has been with the Swedish Energy Agency since 2002 and has previously held positions as Deputy Head of the Analysis Department, Head of the Energy Systems Unit, Head of the Energy Markets Unit, Head of the Sustainable Fuels Unit and Head of the Environment Analysis Unit. He has also been responsible for Swedish official statistics on energy. Between 2016 and 2018 he was Counsellor for Energy at the Swedish Embassy in Jakarta.
Westin holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm where he also was active as a researcher in Industrial Management in the late 1990’s specifically on district energy markets in Sweden and internationally.
